☼ HOW DO I KNOW WHAT LENGTH OF CORD IS RIGHT FOR ME?
It’s really your preference! But most people prefer the cord ends to reach about 3 to 4 inches below the base of the sternum or breastbone (this includes the tips attached). For example, people under 6 feet tall with an average build usually need cords of 36 to 38 inches in length and taller individuals or those with larger body builds usually need cords that are 40 to 42 inches in length. ☼ MY BOLO’S CORD IS STARTING TO BEND AND CURL. HOW DO I FIX THIS?
It’s normal for both leather & vegan leather to retain memory, especially during shipment. Usually, working the ends back & forth with your fingers & giving a few light pulls should be enough to relax the cord. But you may also lightly mist with distilled water (DO NOT DRENCH IT!), gently straighten, dry flat using a hair dryer, slide the pendant down to the tips, & allow your bolo to hang freely over night. ** If you pull too hard, the cord will stretch & become longer. Please be aware of how this may affect sizing! ** I recommend hanging your bolo from a coat hook or laying it down on a flat surface after each use.
